GREEN BAY – The Green Bay Packers-Philadelphia Eagles game in São Paulo, Brazil, ranks as only the third most expensive game on the Packers' schedule heading into the regular season, although it is the priciest international game in the NFL lineup.
It will come as no surprise to Packers fans that the most expensive games are the Vikings at Green Bay on Sept. 29, with a $308 average get-in price, and the Packers at Chicago on Nov. 18, with a $298 average get-in price. The fourth most expensive game is Green Bay at Detroit on Dec. 5 at $289.
To be sure, the price of the Brazil game was higher through most of the spring and summer. In May, the get-in price was $1,178, and on Aug. 20, secondary marketplace TicketSmarter had the average price at $837.87 and the get-in price at $374.40.Neo Química Arena is small by NFL standards and demand far outstripped supply. The current price reflects last-minute purchases being greatly restricted by time and distance, at least by U.S. fans.
The least-expensive games are $115 get-in price for Green Bay at Jacksonville on Oct. 27 and $110 for New Orleans at Green Bay on Dec. 23. The Jaguars and Saints are not, at this stage of the season, marquee matchups.
Prices will adjust as the season progresses and the quality of teams is known, but at this point, six of 17 games have average get-in prices near or below the top season-ticket price of $175 at Lambeau Field.
Secondary marketplace StubHub said the most in-demand Packers home games are against the Vikings, Colts and 49ers, in that order.

What is special about this game?According to Ticketsmarter.com, Packers-Eagles is the most expensive of five international games this season. The online reseller said the get-in price is $292.50, with an average price of $675.95. With a 5.5-to-1 exchange rate, U.S. ticket buyers have an advantage, but there won't be a lot of last-minute sales for this game.
Also not a surprise, it is the most expensive because it's the best match-up of any of the international games, which include New York Jets and Vikings, Jaguars and Bears, and Jaguars and New England Patriots, all in London, and New York Giants and Carolina Panthers in Munich, Germany. The Packers and Eagles are the only teams in that lineup to make the playoffs last season.

What is special about this game? It is the first of three times this season that Gold package ticket holders get divisional opponents. The Packers created the Gold package when they stopped playing in Milwaukee in 1995. Since then, the Gold package had even two divisional games only once, in 1999.
The Vikings and Packers won road games against each other last year. If the Packers want to keep pace with the Detroit Lions for the division championship, they will need to win divisional games. This game is nearly twice as expensive as the game in Minnesota near the end of the year.
The Vikings lost rookie quarterback J.J. McCarthy, who was expected to replace Kirk Cousins, for the year to a preseason-game knee injury. It looks like Sam Darnold, who has a 21-35 record as a starter, will lead the Vikings, where he might have a better offensive supporting cast than he did with the Jets or Panthers.

Face-price range: $132-$175
Average lowest-cost seat: $217
Average lowest-cost seat in May: $237

What is special about this game?Again, a great time for football at Lambeau Field, and the matchup between the Packers' Jordan Love and Houston's C.J. Stroud should be a good one. This is the 10th most expensive Packers game on the secondary market.
Oct. 27, Noon, Jacksonville Jaguars, EverBank Stadium, FOX
Face-price range: N/A
Average lowest-cost seat: $115
Average lowest-cost seat in May: $98
Range of lowest-cost seats: $98-$141
What is special about this game? This year's bargain game. Jacksonville was 9-8 last season, the same as the Packers, but they didn't make the playoffs. This might be a game where Packers fans save their money to pay for three divisional road games after the bye week. The Packers are 3-1 against the Jaguars in Jacksonville dating to 1995.
Nov. 3, 3:25 p.m., Detroit Lions, Lambeau Field, FOX
Face-price range: $132-$175
Average lowest-cost seat: $261
Average lowest-cost seat in May: $285
Range of lowest-cost seats: $208-$390
What is special about this game?As with the Vikings, the Packers swapped road victories with the division-winning Lions in 2023. Green Bay's Thanksgiving Day victory in Detroit set the stage for its season-ending rush to the playoffs. The Packers defeated Super Bowl winning Kansas City the next week to prove the victory in Detroit was no fluke.
The Lions were the bargain game on the Packers' schedule for many years, but prices now reflect Detroit's move to the top of the division. This game and the one in Detroit on Dec. 5 are the fourth and sixth most expensive games on the Packers schedule.
Nov. 17, Noon, Chicago Bears, Soldier Stadium, FOX
Face-price range: N/A
Average lowest-cost seat: $298
Average lowest-cost seat in May: $278
Range of lowest-cost seats: $264-$344
What is special about this game:The Packers are riding a 10-game winning streak against the Bears and are 50-15 since Brett Favre was made the Green Bay starter in 1992. The Bears will trot out another quarterback meant to stem the tide, NFL No. 1 draft pick Caleb Williams, which explains why this is the second most expensive game on the schedule.
Nov. 24, 3:25 p.m., San Francisco 49ers, Lambeau Field, FOX
Face-price range: $132-$175
Average lowest-cost seat: $199
Average lowest-cost seat in May: $271
Range of lowest-cost seats: $149-$239
What is special about this game? This is a grudge match. San Francisco is 4-2 against the Packers since Matt LaFleur was named head coach. Three of those, all Packers losses, were playoff games. On the other hand, the Packers won four of the last five regular-season games against the 49ers.
With the 49ers game on Sunday and the Dolphins on the following Thursday, many of the worldwide Packers fan clubs will take advantage of the twofer to come to Green Bay.
Nov. 28, 7:20 p.m., (Thanksgiving), Miami Dolphins, Lambeau Field, NBC
Face-price range: $132-$175
Average lowest-cost seat: $164
Average lowest-cost seat in May: $179
Range of lowest-cost seats: $112-$302
What is special about this game?Should be a game between two up-and-coming teams, but it has a lot going against it as far as ticket prices are concerned. It is on Thanksgiving and is in the middle of Wisconsin deer season, either of which could keep fans away from Lambeau Field, and in combination surely will. Notably, it's the first of four consecutive prime time games for the Packers.
Dec. 5, 7:15 p.m., Detroit Lions, Ford Field, Prime Video
Face-price range: N/A
Average lowest-cost seat: $289
Average lowest-cost seat in May: $245
Range of lowest-cost seats: $241-$321
What is special about this game? The Packers won in Detroit on Thanksgiving in 2023. If they want to win the division, they might have to do that again. Detroit fans have been on a yearlong high because of their team's resurgence, so this game is the fourth most expensive on the schedule. If the teams are contending for the divisional title, the price could continue to rise.
Dec. 15, 7:20 p.m., Seattle Seahawks, Lumen Field, NBC
Face-price range: N/A
Average lowest-cost seat: $232
Average lowest-cost seat in May: $259
Range of lowest-cost seats: $198-$278
What is special about this game?Seattle is another of the many 9-8 teams in 2023. The Packers and Seahawks had an intense rivalry for a while, but Green Bay won five of the last six games dating to 2015, which cooled things a bit. Not every team can get beat repeatedly and still claim a rivalry, re: the Bears.
Dec. 23, 7:15 p.m., New Orleans Saints, Lambeau Field, 7:15 p.m., ESPN
Face-price range: $132-$175
Average lowest-cost seat: $110
Average lowest-cost seat in May: $137
Range of lowest-cost seats: $92-$139
What is special about this game? The Saints also were 9-8 last year, and have the great good luck to be the only team traveling to Lambeau Field in December, where Matt Fleur is 16-1 during that month. It's two days before Christmas and not an exciting matchup, thus the season's cheapest game.
Dec. 29, Noon, Minnesota Vikings, U.S. Bank Stadium, FOX
Face-price range: N/A
Average lowest-cost seat: $166
Average lowest-cost seat in May: $142
Range of lowest-cost seats: $138-$233
What is special about this game? The price of this game likely reflects the uncertainty of Vikings fans over the coming year. They replaced quarterback Kirk Cousins, now in Atlanta, with 2024 first-round draft pick J.J. McCarthy, who promptly was injured and knocked out for the year in the first preseason game. This is another game where the price could increase if the Vikings are playing well, and if the Packers need to win this game to make the playoffs.
Chicago Bears, Lambeau Field, Jan. 4 or 5, time and network to be determined
Face-price range: $132-$175
Average lowest-cost seat: $178
Average lowest-cost seat in May: $207
Range of lowest-cost seats: $151-$205
What is special about this game? Packers-Bears is usually enough, but these teams played the final game last season, a must-win for Green Bay to make the playoffs. Bears quarterback Caleb Williams will have an entire season under his belt by this game, so it could be one worth seeing.
